Not “another damned list!” says I, but I look anyway and find… Notepad +? hmmm...... 20minutes and 2mb or so later, it’s now my personal text editor elbowing out the venerable Crimson Editor :) Thanks, noop!
You see I like that list because I’ve only heard of 2 of them before. However, at the same time, once you’ve found something you’re comfortable just stick with it.
Now I’m on Mac it’s all about TextMate. OK no, it’s not free but there are ways of sourcing it… and it freakin kicks ass.
Whenever I’m back on Windows I normally just default to Notepad but I might check out that jEdit.
