Hi,

I am trying to design a page using a H1 Tag for the first time. However when I use it makes the area look messy:

Page with H1:
http://www.oaklivingroomfurniture.co.uk

Page without H1:
http://www.pinelivingroomfurniture.co.uk

I haven’t added any height dimensions in the H1 tag but it makes the section I want to use it on appear enlarged, can anyone advise me how I can fix this please?

If you find using h1 tag makes your web page looks messy then, you can try using the pixel size of the text using CSS.

If h1 tags don’t work so well try stepping down to h3. I find h1 tags too big mostly.

cheers

The size gets less big.. but it will not receive higher priority than H2 or H3.
Using H1 for certain words is one of the important element in web pages. :)
