jelqing video I got this for a friend for Christmas. It seems like a good size. I have been inpressed by the Kindle reviews I have read. Actually I bought Kindle Keyboard just one year ago, but I cannot breake my feeling to consider new Kindle. If you think Kindle Keyboard is good; new Kindle is better. The best thing that I like is thin & less weight; you can hold in one hand long time. Natural reading. Thanks Amazon. If you are interested in this Kindle, just buy it! My wife has a Kindle 3G Keyboard which is a really handy unit for the person on the go, but I didn’t think I really needed the 3G or it’s extra cost or the ability to play audio, so I went with the basic Kindle and I’m glad I did. It is really the perfect e-reader. The display is beautiful. Navigation is easy, even with the lack of a standard keyboard. It can be a little cumbersome to type, but it is not even close to a deal breaker. I actually like the special offer aspect of the Kindle. I’ve already used one of the ads to save a few bucks. The ads are not intrusive at all, and when you are reading a book they are never there. You can check out your email, update your facebook status and read a book. Beyond that, the page buttons on the new device have shrunken to the point of being unusable. This has been a constant with every generation of the Kindle due to many complaints about accidental page turns. I never had a problem with accidental page turns, even all the way back on the first Kindle… now they have taken things too far and purposeful page turns are just too hard to accomplish. Finally, I’m quite tired of waiting for Amazon’s official lighted case and will happily purchase a second Kindle Keyboard for this household instead. I preferred the lighter weight of this new Kindle, but not at the expense of screen clarity and contrast. I own both an iPad and a first generation Nook. My dog chewed up the Nook, and I bought this on whim because it’s the cheapest e-reader out there. I’ve been using this new Kindle for a few days, and I’m in love with this device. It is perfect. It does exactly what I want it to do, which is to allow me to read books; and doesn’t try to be anything it isn’t. When my dog ate my Nook, I started reading books on my iPad instead. After a while, I noticed that I stopped reading as much as I did before. I then became cautious of the fact that reading on the iPad for extended periods of time strains my eyes, gives me a slight headache, and makes reading feel more like work than leisure. The new Kindle actually provides a better experience than reading a real book. It is lighter, I can customize the font size, and I can easily get definitions for unfamiliar words. Its screen is better than my first generation nook, the interface is easier, and the page turns are much faster. When I bought my first nook, it cost $250. For that reason, I couldn’t recommend the device to anyone but other avid readers. Now that you can have an even better device for $79, I’d recommend it to even the most casual of readers. If you read more than a book per year, pull the trigger and buy one. If your read less than a book per year, pull the trigger and buy one…just read more. This device will help. It makes reading more enjoyable. |
