jQuery pageSlide lets you add more real estate to a page by adding a second pane of content that is revealed by shifting the original page content to the left. Activated onClick.
at first, assh*le that I am, I was all set to whine, not another goddam “Jquery sliding thingy!”.. but after playing with it for a good 5 minutes (....the demo, you perverts) I found it could actually be quite useful!
Think of a wide screen design… you code it EXACTLY that way, with the navigation sliding into place on demand.
well, I guess you could achieve a similar effect by wrapping everything in a big div and simulating a viewport, but this is already done and looks pretty slick! :)
Hi - I just found this awesome jQuery Cheat Sheet for the iPhone. Sweet! I’ve only had it for a day and it’s been really helpful.
