no comments on the site layout, but the grass and the wood on the background seem so pale to me. A bit deeper and warmer brown, and more sunny and living green would give it just the itch it needs :)

No, it's not Joomla based - more of a bespoke(ish) job combining hacked apart scripts and new coding! Re: the colours - they seem to be just the right shade to display differently on every screen around I think. On my own and a lot of other monitors I've seen the site on, the colours are very vibrant, but there is the occasional one that they look a bit duller on, so I'll have to have a think about that. Thanks for the comments though!
