Thanks for selecting my site. This is my first time on a real design/css gallery.

I was getting sick and tired of building sites for clients with the same red, white, and blue color scheme, so I really focused on darker, earthy colors for my own site.

You're welcome. The design definitely catches your eye when you first see it.

I got my color palette directly from the photograph. I selected a dozen or so colors from the picture, then built my design around 5-6 of them. I think this makes for a more "organic" design overall.
