Mixed cols and rows
This is a tight portal layout. Big colorful icons to highlight the key sections of the site, and I love this particular blend of brown for the background color.
This is a pure example of accessibility in web standards. I love how the simplicity of the navigation is coupled with fabulous icons for those with lack of literacy. All in all, this is a beautifully constructed redesign.
