Ok, so I’ve moved on to much bigger and better things… So I figured I’d post this up for anyone who may want it. I have a working version, along with the psd file available for download on my site. I attached an example of how it looks.

Keep in mind, I am no longer updating this particular file… So you get it “as is” with no guarantees about it’s functionability in certain browsers *cough IE6*.

Comment about the How To Display Your Menu Bar in Internet Explorer 7 in your Vista Style CSS menubar
Technique #1:
Right click the tab bar and check off Menu Bar. Yes, that is it.
Technique #2:
Press alt+v on your keyboard to display the menu bar. Now you have to keep it there, by going to Tool Bars > Menu Bar And that’s it! Your IE7 should now display the menu bar.

I came across an excellent post on the Itookia website that described creating a Aero-glass like menu bar (from Vista) using just three images and CSS.  Like most cool web components, I have been on a kick lately to find a way to encapsulate the functionality into an ASP.NET server control.
