Hi

I’ve come across a tool to add to sites I do that translates everything free (http://www.appliedlanguage.com/trans/free_quick.aspx), only downside is a link back to the providing site – that I can see of anyway?? Anybody used it or know how good it is??

I personally am not a fan of their translator. The server is often slow (many online translators are). Instead, I prefer http://www.conveythis.com. It doesn’t suffer from slow down because it basically combines all online translators into one tool. Also, it tracks translation statistics for your website so you can see which languages your pages are translated the most. All of this is combined into one small button. I really like it a lot.

You have also google translator widget - see: http://translate.google.com/translate_tools

But.. you must be aware that those translations are not often accurate. They only can give some general view.

There are many website translation on the web.
Google search “Free website translation”.
But be aware though that these websites are not that accurate in most of their translations, since it’s free.

Best Regards!

I find Google translate to be great.  Yes it is not perfect but it is quick and free and most often gives you a very good idea of what is being said.  They offer a nice option to include a widget on your page.  http://translate.google.com/translate_tools

Online translation sites enable you to understand the gist of a piece of foreign text or website, but are not entirely accurate or reliable and are no substitute for a human

Bob, i once used auto translation for one of my site. IMHO, it did a very bad work.

This machine translation scripts just transtale word by word and not sentences as a whole and in the native language, it might mean something else.

But it does get your page on multiple google indexes for sure :)

Thanx
