Hi,

I am working on a pitch for government related project and one of the requirements is that browsing on site should be absolutely private, not detectable in browser history for example. Because this is abuse related website project, potential victims need to be absolutely secure when viewing site.

I can not think of any way how to force browser to keep visit private, can this be done?

thanks all.

R.

Do you mean to make the website that you visited not to be listed in history? Just change the values in history setting. However, I’m not sure if you can do that to ONE particular website.

I don’t believe you can clear the history in a browser independent manner, but that is just one part of what you have to worry about. You will also have to worry about cookies, temporary cache files and application data files like images, swf, etc… none of which you can clear from a browser without some code.
