OK, not strictly a CSS code sample but should be very useful nevertheless to anyone who likes quick references. This is a printable colorized PDF quickref for CSS2.1 - just two pages to be printed back-to-back. Free to use. Enjoy!

thanks. I’m so busy i’ve taken the attitude of ‘I’ll deal with css 3 when I can actually use it’ though looking at your card there doesn’t seem to be much that isn’t in css 2, i thought there were all sorts of ‘modules’ in css3.

I wouldn’t claim that my ref card is comprehensive. I have just attempted to squeeze onto one sheet of paper as much as possible with a view to providing a reference to the most frequently used features.

On reflection, I am going to rename the post CSS2.1 Quick Ref. The trouble is there are so many things I have chosen to leave out because they are poorly supported by IE6. I am doing a supplemental card that talks exclusively about CSS3 features so the two can be used together without continually running into IE6 non-support issues.  Should be available soon. IE6 makes life so hard - I cannot as yet ignore it but at the same time I don’t see the point in creating “blue sky” information that disregards the realities of the world.

This post orginated in 2007 & speaks about IE6.  Is this code still valued or should it be updated with the release of Windows-7 & IE8?
